Photography has always been a passion of mine, I started with black & white film photography in 1998 with a 35mm SLR using monochrome film.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soon after that I set up a small dark room in which I could develop my own negatives and prints. Not too long passed until I pointed my camera at the moon, took a close-up picture and was captivated with the beauty of the night sky.

My fist telescope was the Meade ETX which I got in 2004 after which I realized "size does matter".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Being a mechanical engineer as well, it seemed like astrophotography would be the perfect combination of photography, art, technical design and application.
